Bini B.S is currently an Academic Fellow at Balvant Parekh Centre for General Semantics and Other Human Sciences, Baroda, India. Her Ph.D was a Foucauldian analysis of alternative history and historicity of fictional narratives. She was part of an Oxford University Press Translation Project, An Anthology of Malayalam Literature. Her research articles, poems and translations have appeared in Journals and anthologies including Poetry Chain, Kritya, Samyukta, Kavyabharati, DUJES, ETC: A Journal of General Semantics, JWS: A Journal of Women’s Studies, South Asian Ensemble, and The Virtual Transformation of the Public Sphere (An Anthology published by Routledge). She is one of editors of Anekaant: A Journal of Polysemic Thought and the managing editor of JCT (The Journal of Contemporary Thought)
Binu Karunakaran is a poet and translator based in Kochi, India where he works as a journalist. A recipient of the 2012 Charles Wallace India Trust Fellowship for writing, his poetry has previously appeared in Cordite, an Australian journal and Concise Delight, a biannual magazine of short poetry published by MET Press, Baltimore.
Ravi Shanker (writing poems under the pseudonym Ra Sh) translates from Malayalam and Tamil to English and vice versa. He has translated works by Dario Fo, Paulo Friere, Freidrich Durrenmatt, Bertolt Brecht and Badal Sircar to Malayalam as theatre projects and published works. Published English translations include Harum Scarum Saar and Other Stories by Bama (from Tamil), Mother Forest- The unfinished story of C.K.Janu by Bhaskaran (from Malayalam) ( both published by Women Unlimited, New Delhi) and Waking is Another Dream, an anthology of Sri Lankan Tamil poetry (along with Meena Kandasamy) ( published by Navayana, New Delhi.) Also translated plays and poems from Tamil which formed part of an Anthology of Dalit Writing in Tamil and articles from Malayalam which formed part of an Anthology of Dalit writing in Malayalam ( both published by Oxford University Press, India.) Poems have been published in Bhashaposhini and Kindle Magazine.
Dr. Sreelatha Chakravarty author of the novel—“An Eternal Romantic” is based in Kochi, Kerala presently. She is married and has two kids. Born to Keralite parents she graduated with M.B.B.S degree from V.S.S. Medical College, Burla, Orissa. Her short story—‘An illicit thought’ appeared in an anthology titled—“Shades of Sin—behind the mask”. Her poem “Hope” was published in a students’ curriculum book. She is working on a collection of poetry and editing her second novel. Many of her poems are part and parcel of her book “An Eternal Romantic”. She believes that poetry is powerful enough to invoke buried passion and touch kindred souls. Sreelatha writes to fulfill her own need of communication with a larger mass. In short, her poetry is a whisper into the ears of a busy world, if it cares to listen.
Jeena Mary Chacko (writing under the pseusonym Mikim Bizii) is currently working as a content writer. Her poems and articles have been published in The Rapid Eye, Contemporary Literary Horizon, The New Indian Express, Malayala Manorama and Bhashaposhini. Whenever her insatiable curiosity for all the wonders and whimsies of the universe takes a respite, she lets her harlequin dreams and nightmares takeover and a poem is born.
